"Scotia Village provides a safe, caring environment. What makes it even better are the quality of the staff and the blessings of fellow residents."

- Florence Gilkeson

One of the biggest advantages of choosing to live at a continuing care retirement community (CCRC) is the continuum of care that is offered. Residents can feel secure that not only have they made a great decision for their present, but they have made an even greater decision about their future.

When you make the decision to live at Scotia Village, you are guaranteeing yourself priority access to the healthcare that you may need in the future. In addition to the over 120 independent living residences on our campus, Scotia Village also houses 28 assisted living residences, 50 skilled nursing residences and 8 memory care residences.

Scotia Village offers all private residences in our healthcare center including in Tartan Place, our skilled nursing neighborhood. In addition, four couple suites are available in Heather Glen, our assisted living neighborhood.

Through the active living lifestyle we promote, you will be afforded the best opportunity to remain independent for as long as possible; however, at any time “life can happen” and circumstances may change. When a health event occurs a Scotia Village resident and their family feel assured, knowing that Scotia Village offers a variety of health-supported services to meet their needs.

Scotia Village residents are able to make a smooth transition to another level of care because those facilities are right here on campus, close to friends and support systems on campus. Spouses are happy because they remain near their loved ones, and children are relieved that they do not have to make those tough decisions.

Our healthcare center is staffed by a dedicated group of professionals whose sole purpose is to serve the residents for which they care.
